![]() ![]() Its hard not having SKSE64 once you've had it, as there's near 100% agreement it is better-but its a minor inconvenience for (what will probably be) a week or so PS: and still ANOTHER alternative-just disable SKSE64 in your Vortex or NMMĪgain you'll still be playing Skyrim.in fact you'll be playing it the same way every console player and non-modding Skyrim player plays it! and also the SKSE64 menu has SOME (for example 'value") but not ALL (for example 'damage') of the various itemsīut the point is you can still play your current SkyrimĪs a wild guess, from a NON technical guy, I am guessing its better to prevent the inevitable/eventual save game corruptions than switching back-n-forth from different Skyrim versions there's an extra little pause when the menus come up when you press 'I' to see said menus.about 3 secondsĢ. There will be 2 annoyances, but they do NOT break gameplayġ. The point being you can STILL PLAY your setup and every few days check the Silverlock site for the SKSE64 ( Always does eventually!) update In fact its the very alternative I'm doing now, on my replay of Skyrim SE (currently I am level 7.basically I'm a slight bit stronger than the average skeever) Just to say it, there IS another very practical alternative Was just curious if anyone else is having this problem or can confirm that an update hit Skyrim today? I don't mind waiting for silverlock to update the code, but if this is an easy fix that's unrelated to skse64, I'd rather fix it so I can keep binging! ![]() But I disabled the mod and still get the message. My thoughts were maybe the "no spinning death animation," mod changed something. I never saw Skyrim do any kind of update, and was unable to find any news online about a recent update. I thought I was running 1.5.50, but apparently I'm not. I believe the current build on silverlock is 1.5.50. In the meantime, please check for updates. If this version just came out, please be patient while we update our code. "You are using a newer version of Skyrim than this version of SKSE64 supports. When I reboot the game I get this message, I exit and decide to add the "no spinning death animation," mod after crushing a few bandit skulls just to watch them do their little dance and fall over. I boot the game and play for a few hours. Pretty stoked and been binging out on a good mod setup. ![]()
